Hexham Space for Nature volunteers have been working on a series of principles which we hope all the relevant actors in our town can sign up to (So far we have signed up Hexham Town Council and Hexham Civic Society ). You can see the principles here.
One of the key principles is that all our public spaces should have management plans which consider the future of our trees. We have started this work with our proposals for tree replacement and new planting at the Sele.
