Our next event, with South Tyne Wildlife group, is a screening of Queen of the Sun: what the bees are trying to tell us
Tuesday 10th Dec, 7.30pm, Comrades Club,
Haltwhistle. All welcome.
Taking us on a journey through the catastrophic disappearance of bees and the
mysterious world of the beehive this alarming, and ultimately uplifting, film
weaves together a dramatic story of the heartfelt struggles of beekeepers, scientists
and philosophers around the world. Please bring saved seeds from bee friendly plants
to share and swap at this event. We hope to supply some seeds to local schools and other
community groups. South Tyne Wildlife Group meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm, generally in the Comrades Club, with talks on a range of local wildlife species,
habitats and issues. Contact Libby Scott 01434 344582
