Recipe competition, Hexham Food Festival

27th April is  the date of the 2013 Hexham Food Festival and Spring Fair.

This year Hexham Farmers Market producers are asking you to bring along your favourite seasonal recipe to share with everyone. After the event all recipes will be put on the market website as a source of inspiration for the fantastic produce you can buy at the market.

A longstanding member of Transition Tynedale since its inception I am now residing in Catton while my husband works in the far east. I helped start the community gardens at no 28 and HMS, the garden share scheme and the Farmers market stalls. I now work mainly with Edible Hexham to show people how easy it is to grow their own veg.even in small spaces.
