Our first event is a public meeting on Wednesday September 21st at 7.30 in the Hexham Abbey Monastic Workshop (Tea Rooms) – “Can we use our cars differently – or even do without them?”
All are welcome to listen to speakers with experience of using or organising different forms of travel, and to contribute to future projects to improve local transport and reduce our carbon footprint.
The following day – Thursday September 22nd – is World Carfree Day: see if you can be carfree on that day (it might be habit-forming!)
